Make it stand out.

I’ve had the opportunity to work for WildBrian Studios as a designer on a range of projects from logo work, motion graphics, illustrations, branding, social campaigns and so much more. I was the core designer for researching, developing and designing the studio branding. Their style beforehand was very corporate, lack of colour and not utilising shapes and assets to showcase their shows and brands. I went on a journey to explore colour palettes, creating a custom handmade font, graphical assets, brand guidelines and working with the communication/social team to set up a voice for the studio. We wanted to emphasis the artist driven side and tailor it to the creative and imaginative individuals who work for us! A few elements were well loved and have slowly moved into the WildBrain core brand.

I created a mini style guide to co-exist with the corporate branding. These included colour variations, bespoke hand drawn graphics and a handwritten font. These assets were drawn traditional by myself using pencil, pens and ink. I then vectorised everything and used Fontforge to create a useable font for the studio.

Process

WildBrain’s tagline is “Imagination runs wild” which wasn’t resonated in their overall brand. We wanted to explore ways to attract new talent and bring the whimsical fun back to the company. I explored the studio’s shows, content and experimented with different ways we could cooperate this all together

Design Materials

I created a range of banners, poster, social campaigns and other marketing elements using the new brand.

Internal Communications

Working with the marketing and communications team I was able to work on exciting logo projects within the WildBrain brand. These included character designs, badges, text and icons to promote competitions, awards, programs and events
